If you are unsecure about your changes, put a sweater on and shape your waist with pins, to see what effect
it has on you and where to shape. Try different shaping's. Measure and write it down.

situations. You can do your project in small sections and it takes not too much space in your bag or briefcase.
It takes the part of the mind, that might normally wander about other things, now occupied by counting stitches
and following the pattern. Crocheting or other handicrafts, such as sewing and knitting are great stress relievers.

Not all crochet charts are super easy to understand, so beginners are advised to start with a simple one.
For granny squares and flowers, the methods are the same, they all are worked in the round.
Using simple basic crochet stitches, like chains, single and double crochets, all worked at the right side of the fabric.
Most of the motifs begins by chaining a few stitches. Then you join with a slip stitch, forming a loop.
Then you begin working stitches into that loop. At the end of each round, you join the first and last stitch.
