De noppen in mijn breisteken patronen zijn gehaakt.
Een originele nop breien;
Voor een nop van 3 steken;
brei 3 steken uit 1 steek, draai om
brei 3 steken averechts, draai om
brei de 3 steken samen,
brei nu verder aan de steken op de breinaald
Voor een grotere nop, breit u nog een
rechte en averechtse toer over 3 st.
voordat u de 3 steken samen breit.
Voor een nop van 5 steken;
brei 5 steken uit 1 steek, draai om
brei 5 steken averechts, draai om
Brei 5 steken recht, draai om
Brei 2 st. Av. samen, 1 Av, 2 st. Av. samen,
3 steken rechts samen breien
Brei nu verder aan de steken op de breinaald
Estlandse noppen breien;
Brei 1 steek, laat de steek op de linker breinaald staan
afhankelijk van de gewenste grootte van de nop
brei telkens in die steek;
1 R., 1 omslag, 1 R., 1 omslag, enz enz eindig met 1 R.
in de volgende toer breit u alle steken Av. samen |
The nupps or bobbles in my knitting stitch patterns are crocheted nupps.
An original nupp was knitted by;
For a nupp with 3 stitches;
making 3 stitches out of 1 stitch, turn your work
then purling all the stitches in the next row, turn your work
knit the 3 st. together in the next row.
Now continue with the other stitches on the needle.For a larger nupp add 1 knit row and 1 purl row,
before knitting the 3 stitches together, as in image below.
For a nupp with 5 stitches ;
knit 5 stitches out of 1 stitch, turn your work
purl 5 stitches, turn your work
knit 5 stitches, turn your work
purl 2 together, purl 1, purl 2 together, turn your work
knit the 3 st. together
and continue with the other stitches on the needle
Estonian knitting nupps are knitted by;
knit 1 stitch,
leave this stitch on the left needle and make a few stitches,
depending on the size of how big you want your nupp to be,
knit 1, YO, knit 1, YO, knit 1,
as many times as you want, end with knit 1
then in the next row; purl all the stitches together |

Ajour breien of kant breien is niet zo fijntjes als echt kant, kantklossen, maar heel geschikt voor gebreide kleding.
Het breiwerk is zacht en als het klaar is, is het kleding stuk enigszins tot heel erg doorzichtig.
Ajour breiwerk kenmerkt zich door op regelmatige afstanden gaatjes in te breien.
Het kant breien of ajour breien is de mooiste vorm van breien, en in fabrieksmatig breiwerk is het moeilijk om gaatjes te breien.
Echte ajour breipatronen vormen zowel aan de voorkant, als aan de achterkant, ajour steken.
Wordt er alleen aan de voorkant steken gemaakt, dan heten ze eigenlijk kant-achtige breipatronen.
Mijn patronen zijn dus over het algemeen kant-achtig. De steken aan de achterkant worden gebreid zoals ze zich voordoen.
Dit betekent dat u de rechte steken van de voorkant, aan de achterkant averechts moet breien en andersom.
Ik heb een hekel aan steek patronen die ook aan de achterkant gebreid moeten worden, het is zo al ingewikkeld genoeg.De ajour steken
zijn altijd in paren en dat betekend dat voor elke omslag er een mindering moet zijn.
2 steken samenbreien geeft een mindering die naar rechts wijst en een rechtse overhaling een mindering die naar links wijst.
De ondergrond waarop ze gemaakt worden is meestal een tricot steek, rechts voor en averechts achter breien dus.
Voor de beginnende breisters zijn er leuke steken markeerders, om ze tussen de patroon steek herhalingen te plaatsen.

Lace knitting is generally not as fine as other forms of lace, such as needle lace or bobbin lace.
However, it is better suited for garments, being softer and much faster to produce. The fabric will be see-through when finished !
Lace knitting is a style of knitting characterized by "holes" in the fabric arranged with consideration of aesthetic value.
Lace is sometimes considered the pinnacle of knitting, because of its complexity and because woven fabrics cannot easily be made to have
holes.
Some consider that "true" knitted lace has pattern stitches on both the right and wrong sides,
and that knitting with pattern stitches on only one side of the fabric, so that holes are separated by at least two threads,
is technically not lace, but "lacy knitting". Most of my lace patterns must be considered as Lacy Knitting Patterns.
The patterns are in symbols, to get a true sense of the pattern.
Lace stitches are mostly formed at the right side of the fabric, and comes in stitch pairs. For every yarn over (YO) there is a
decrease stitch.
The ground on which it is worked is mostly stockinette stitch, knit on right side, purl on wrong side.
And very important, knit the stitches at the wrong side as they appear; if it is a Knit stitch; purl on wrong side and visa versa.
For beginners there are stitch markers, to put between every pattern repeat, to make things easier for the beginning knitter.
